CURRENTLY HIRING: Patient Care Coordinator (PCC)
At the heart of our day is a role that's all about building connections. Picture this: you'll be the friendly voice answering phones, the mastermind behind coordinating appointments, and the warm welcome greeting clients and patients deserve. But wait, there's more – you're not just here to check boxes; you're our secret ingredient in ensuring a top-notch client service and championing the well-being of our patients. It's more than a job; it's a chance to be the sunshine in someone's day and the unsung hero in our clinic's heartbeat. Ready to dive into a role where every "how can we help you?" makes a difference? Welcome aboard!
Here's a glimpse into what your day-to-day might look like:
- Kick off phone calls with a cheerful smile that shines through your voice – it's contagious!
- Welcome our clients and patients with genuine warmth and compassion, making sure no one feels like just another appointment.
- Manage our incoming emails like a superhero, making sure they reach the right person, get attached to the right charts, and get a speedy response.
- Keep an eye on our Weave app for text messages – we want our responses to be as quick as your favorite emoji!
- Be the voice for our patients and the guide for our clients. We're all about advocacy and education.
- Become the go-to guru on over-the-counter products, veterinary prescription food and let clients know when medications are ready.
- Work your magic in processing payments – cash, check, credit card, or Care Credit, you name it.
- Be our organizational wizard by creating and updating medical records folders, keeping everyone in the loop about any changes.
- Embrace the unexpected – there's always room for additional tasks!
Skills We're Looking For:
Your verbal and written communication skills should be top-notch. Whether chatting with colleagues, supervisors, doctors, or clients, you'll be a pro at getting your message across. A year of experience dancing with a multi-line phone system is preferred, as well as being able to type at 35 words per minute with precision. Word or WordPerfect and Excel should be your jam, and if you're the maestro of detail-oriented multitasking, we want you!
This role has some physical workout aspects, but you'll mostly be our vocal acrobat! Chatting and listening are your daily exercises, with a side of turning, twisting, bending, and reaching to keep things interesting. You may need to lift things that weigh 20-40 lbs during your daily tasks. You'll be the MVP of multitasking while sitting about 90% of the time and clocking in a mile's worth of walking per shift.
Educational Requirements:
A high school diploma or an equivalent is what we're looking for – because the best gigs often start with a solid foundation.
Work Environment:
Welcome to our bustling world – it might get a bit noisy with barking dogs and the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced vibe. Tension might sneak in (with our sometimes very ill patients), but we're all about supporting each other through it.
Aside from being part of a caring and supportive team, you'll enjoy a fulfilling role where you make a real difference in the lives of pets and their families. Plus, you'll have access to ongoing training, opportunities for personal and professional development, and a positive work environment where your contributions are valued and celebrated.
Benefits:
To show our appreciation for your dedication and hard work, we offer a comprehensive benefits package for full time employees, including 401(k) matching, dental, health, and vision insurance, paid time off, opportunities for professional development, employee discounts, and even your scrubs on us!
