Our goal? To maintain the highest standards of client service and patient advocacy, ensuring every furry friend that comes through our doors receives top-notch, compassionate care.
Here's a glimpse into what your day-to-day might look like:
- Keeping kennels clean, comfy, and sanitized.
- Looking after our hospitalized animal guests by feeding, exercising, and loving them as if they were your own as well as keeping a keen eye on any changes in patient status and reporting back to the team.
- Tackling laundry duties, because clean bedding means cozy pets, as well as ensuring dishes and surgical instruments are squeaky clean and ready for use.
- Being a crucial part of the surgery prep and care team, from setup to patient monitoring and recovery.
- Restocking treatment and surgical areas to keep our operations running smoothly.
- Assisting with treatments, radiographs, lab work, and providing gentle restraint for a variety of animals, ensuring their safety and comfort. – you're the jack-of-all-trades!
- Handling a variety of other tasks, from medical record maintenance to client follow-ups, ensuring the highest level of care and service.
Skills We’re Looking For:
While prior experience isn't a prerequisite, we are in search of an individual who boasts excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of forging strong connections with teammates, supervisors, doctors, and clients alike. The ideal candidate will also exhibit problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude, contributing to the upbeat atmosphere of our practice. Furthermore, the ability to handle the physical demands of the job, such as lifting, moving, standing, walking, and maintaining dexterity, is essential. We value eagerness to learn and grow, expecting the candidate to complete required continuing education courses and tackle new challenges with enthusiasm.
Educational Requirements:
A high school diploma or an equivalent is what we're looking for – because the best gigs often start with a solid foundation.
