CURRENTLY HIRING: Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
Are you a passionate Certified Veterinary Technician (or on your way to certification) who thrives in a clinical setting and shines in leadership roles? If so, we've been looking for someone just like you to join our close-knit team at our animal-loving hospital. Our mission is to deliver not just veterinary care, but compassionate, top-notch, and forward-thinking treatments to our furry patients and their human families. We're in search of a kindred spirit who cherishes the human-animal bond, leads by example, eagerly embraces continuous learning, and is ready to further their career journey with us.
Your role with us would be hands-on and heart-in, involving everything from administering and monitoring anesthesia to assisting in surgeries, performing dental cleanings and full-mouth X-rays, placing IV catheters, and conducting a range of diagnostic tests (think blood draws, cystocentesis, radiography, ECGs, and blood pressure measurements). Plus, you'll play a pivotal role in providing tender, nursing care to our animal patients.
We take pride in being a forward-thinking, high-caliber practice with a team of 5 doctors, all dedicated to upholding the standards of AAHA and being a Feline Friendly certified practice. Plus, our entire staff is certified Fear Free, ensuring that we provide the most stress-free environment possible for our animal clients.
Benefits:
To show our appreciation for your dedication and hard work, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) matching, dental, health, and vision insurance, paid time off, opportunities for professional development, employee discounts, and even your scrubs on us!
Work-Life Balance:
We value your time and well-being, which is why we operate Monday through Friday, with no night or weekend shifts. Full-time CVTs enjoy a 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts, allowing for 3 rest days to recharge. We're also open to discussing part-time opportunities if that suits your lifestyle better.
Work Environment:
Welcome to our bustling world – it might get a bit noisy with barking dogs and the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced vibe. Tension might sneak in (with our sometimes very ill patients), but we're all about supporting each other through it.
Aside from being part of a caring and supportive team, you'll enjoy a fulfilling role where you make a real difference in the lives of pets and their families. Plus, you'll have access to ongoing training, opportunities for personal and professional development, and a positive work environment where your contributions are valued and celebrated.
